JD 2.83 Million, Societe Generale Bank-Jordan 2021 Half Net Profit
Manko: First half profits were positive, with an increase of 3.51%
Societe Generale Bank of Jordan achieved a growth in its profits for the first half of 2021, by 3.51 percent, on an annual basis.
The unaudited financial results of the bank showed a quarterly profit of JD 2.83 million ($4 million), compared to a profit of JD 2.74 million ($ 3.86 million) in the first half of 2020
The Bank’s results for the first half of the year increased by 21.42% to reach JD 18.37 million compared to JD 15.13 million for the first half of last year.
Commenting on the results, , Mr. Hassan Manko, Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, said the bank was able to remedy the great risks that resulted as a result of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, and was able, thanks to its prudent policy and the efficiency of its management, to achieve satisfactory mid-term results and will continue to develop its performance using well-studied strategies for the second half of this year.
